How to properly ground a sbc 350 in an iroc-z?
I just noticed in a forum someone mentioned grounding the black battery wire to the alternator bracket and another negative to the car's chassis? or subframe? i have the negative from battery to alternator bracket and the positive red wire with a few little ones to the starter but dont have the other negative to chassis or subframe that the other guy had mentioned. should i have one like that? i havent had any problem that seem like anything that that issue would cause. just wondering why it seems like theres a total of 1 main positive and 2 main grounds???
You can have as many grounds as you like. Just be sure you have good sized cable going from neg batt to engine, and a smaller but still somewhat heavy wire going from either neg batt or engine block to body ground at firewall or radiator core support.
