Here are some more information for Balancer Internal Chevy:

Jeep unveiled it's first seven passenger vehicle in 2005 at the New York Motor Exhibition. This seven passenger vehicle was named Jeep Commander. The first model, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, is almost the same size as the Commander. The advancement in the Commander is it's passenger space.
It has more space and capacity than the Grand Cherokee. The Commander has a different look and style also. An observer can easily identify the deviation from the standard Jeep designs. It looks like a bold attempt at creativity and re-branding.
Jeep is working hard to please its consumers. Todays car buyers have a lot of choice. There are a lot of competitors in seven-seat vehicles. Performance and looks are more important. It pays very well to fuse these two qualities. Especially on seven-seat vehicles. On the overall, customers will not be disappointed in the Jeep Commander. Coincidentally; the name 'Commander' is common among seven-seat car manufacturers. Maybe it sells.
Jeep has high expectations for its Commander model. Its creative design is more likely to attract sales bigger than its past models. Jeep's past models are the Studebaker Commander and Scammell Commander. These two models have less advanced features than the Jeep Commander. The name Commander has been maintained.
The main feature of the Jeep Commander is its moon roof. The Commander roof is tilted to the front. This feature allows the back seat passengers to have more leg space. The boxy appearance of the Commander is well proportioned. An equal balance between aesthetics and functionality. The Commander sports a modern look which doesn't compromise its passenger capacity.
The old Jeep Wagoner has an external appearance which is slightly similar to the Jeep Commander. It's amazing how the engineers blended the characteristics of the Jeep Wagoner with those of the Grand Cherokee. The Grand Cherokee inspired the development of the Jeep Commander. Features borrowed from the Grand Cherokee are not easily identifiable because of the stark difference in external appearance. They are more internal than external. This includes performance and power.
We haven't started discussing the Jeep Commander, until we talk about engine power. The Commander comes with three choices of engines. These are the V6 and two types of V8 engines. The first V8 engine has a capacity of 5. 7 liters. The second V8 engine has a capacity of 3. 7 liters. This engine package is convenient for different types of consumers. Types of drivers ranging from speed maniacs, rough terrain travellers and luggage packers will find it easy to select the proper engine. A note to speed lovers, the Commander is not made for speed though.
Frequent travellers like SUVs. The size of the Jeep Commander is unlike any known SUV. If you are travelling with family, you will find this vehicle convenient. Teams and groups of travellers will fit quite well in this seven seater vehicle. More so if you are going for an outdoor expedition or game park. The Commander can traverse sandy plains, rocky trail roads, and muddy roads.
The Jeep Commander has not broken a record. The critics say. True, there is no new feature on the Commander, but it has succeeded in bringing affordability, economy, style and comfort on one plate. There is a market for this kind of vehicle, especially in this recession. A lot of SUVs on the market do not provide this convenience. The Commander came late on the scene. Jeep explains that the delay was due to specific refinements. Refinements on capacity and passenger seating. Sure, its hard to provide comfort on a seven passenger seat vehicle, but Jeep succeeded in this regard.
SUV fans and consumers are enthusiastic about the next generation of Jeep Commanders. The Commander makers have one thing to brag about. The capacity of the Commander. No SUV can beat the Commander in this regard. At the same, they know that the Commander is not a vehicle that causes envy. It is such a simple vehicle with standard features. Rival SUVs boast of advanced features that put them ahead of the competition. Jeep has begun to modify the Commander, slowly but surely. The Jeep Commander Overland has been furnished with platinum plating. Its side moulds, side roof, rear assist and grilles are all platinum. A power lift gate has been introduced as well.
The Jeep Commander made disappointing sales in the year 2007. What was the reason? Was it lagging behind in advanced features? Maybe the consumers were looking for something better than the Commander? Overall sales of the Jeep range increased by 8%. Sales reports for February 2007 show an increase in sales for the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Compass. These were the biggest earners of the company. The Jeep Wrangler had a massive 63% increase in sales, followed behind by the Jeep Compass which sold more than 4000 units. The bad performers were the Commander, the Jeep Liberty and the Grand Cherokee. Sales for the Liberty went down a whopping 41%. The Commander sales went down by 24% and the Grand Cherokee by 22%.

Blazer grille – for personalized style
The Chevrolet Blazer was one of the most popular SUVs for five consecutive decades. In the early 1980s, however, Chevrolet started to call another one of its products the Blazer. And in actuality, the other Chevy Blazer -- the "S-10 Blazer" -- is the one consumers are most likely to come across in the used-car market due to its greater popularity and more recent place in history. It was a pioneer in the modern small SUV segment. With more improvements over the different models, its interiors and styling was significantly improved. The most recent Blazer was bigger than its predecessors but smaller compared to other cars in the midsize SUV section. Though its production was discontinued in 2005 the cars have been able to survive the test of time thanks to its internal mechanics and a powerful engine.
The Blazer was available in three trim levels with different features and abilities packed into each one. It was a quick and enjoyable car to drive; perfect for a pleasure ride across the town with its comfortable interiors and considerably decent off the road performances. One of the most significant changes made to the car, throughout its production period was the revision of its inner and outer styling, four-wheel antilock disc brakes and a passenger-side front airbag. These features made the car a solid and reliable companion on the road. The Blazer is not exactly known for its exceptional looks but you can work on this by using the Blazer grille. A new Blazer grille will bring a fresh change to the look of your car and make sure that people notice it.
You can also reflect your own style and likings through the grille as they are available in many innovative and unique designs. From the wide selection of Blazer grilles you can be sure to find a one that suits your taste. The plus point about changing the grille is that even though it enhances the looks of your car, it does not override the other features of the car which define it. This subtlety is the key to ensuring a change without upsetting the aesthetical balance of the car. To know more you can visit www.ilovebodykits.com

chevy 350 timing question Casting# 3970010?
At TDC, What position does the Balancer notch face? Right now, mines is at the 12oclock position. But i think its wrong cuz im having carb backfires, etc. Ive done all i can with rebuilding the carb and no change, people keep saying its the timing, bla bla bla, so im rechecking it. The engine #3970010. So im wanting to hear from other guys who know the position the balancer notch is suppose to face.
And when i put a timing light on, it seems to run at idle really good, til i push the throttle and get bogs and backfires. The engine is rebuilt and has all new internal and externals.
you can turn your motor and bring piston one to the top but if you are not on the compression stroke you will set your timing 180 degrees off. When bringing # 1 to the top feel for air coming out of the park plug hole. This means that you are one your compression stroke. Your # 1 cylinder is to the front of the vehicle on the right side if you are looking under the hood. When you are at the top of # 1 on compression stroke your rotor button should point towards the # 1 cylinder, where the rotor is pointing is also were the spark plug wire goes on the cap for #1 follow your timing order and make sure it is correct. then you will KNOW it is not the timing. use a straw to feel the # 1 piston and turn your motor by the crank bolt when you get close. Let some one gently bump the starter to get you close.
