I had this one since 2004. It is in the glove compartment of our Sienna who owe their tire pressure checked every week otherwise the tires wear out very quickly (another story). The form takes to use a little more to get a good grip on the pole, but when you once to know how to do it right, it always works. I like the fact that my coming, in one case, and is located in the glove compartment.
The backlight is great reading. You can check in low light places (like my street), and yet the figures are clear.

NICE SLEEK TIRE GAUGE
I've owned one of these since 2004. It sits in the glove box of our Sienna, which needs its tire pressure checked weekly otherwise the tires wear really fast (another story). The gauge takes a little getting use to in order to get a good seal over the stem, but once you get to know how to do it properly, it works everytime. I like the fact that mine came in a case, so it is nicely packed away in the glove box.
The backlight readout is great. You can check in low light places (like my driveway) and still see the numbers clearly.
Too bad this is more expensive than the Accutire MS-4201B, otherwise I would buy a 2nd one of these.

Very Good (and Tough)
Have owned for approx. 2.5 years now, and it's worked very well. I found out that it's also very tough, since I fell off the hood of our vehicle at 70+ MPH (yes, I had set it there after checking tire pressures- very stupid, I know), and it didn't have scratch (was in the fabric "case" that comes with it) and has continued to work flawlessly!! Just bought a second one, so we can leave one in each of our vehicles.

Not worth the price of admission.
I like the fit & finish of this tire pressure gauge, and the large backlit display is excellent. The small built-in LED light is nearly useless unless you plan to air up your tires in the pitch black night. If there is a streetlight or a flashlight within 50 yards of your vehicle, the LED light is rendered useless.
The rubber cover over the measuring end slides forward every time you press the gauge onto the valvestem, which is about 3 to 4 times per tire because the gauge does not contact the valve stem very well. I tried holding it several different ways and only 1 in 4 pressure checks were successful. The remainder of the time I either got 00.0 psi or about 20 psi, which is 15 to 20 psi below what I know the tires to have.
I would not buy this product again. The sheath it came in is fantastic, though, and probably where about 45% of the purchase price went. Oh well. I'll use it for about a year or two then probably throw it into the dumpster in frustration.

Aviod this tire guage
I have purchased two of these guages and the results are the same, poor. It is very difficult to line this guage up with the valve stem to get an accurate reading. My daughter tried it and lost air trying to get an accurate reading. This product is a waste of money and its accuracy is in doubt.

Best tire for aftermarket 20" rims on 2006 lexus GS430 (your opinions are appreciated) also In relation to that, If you put aftermarket rims and tires on a 2006 Lexus GS430 do you also have to buy tire pressure sensors? Are those sensors in the valve stems themselves? If the sensors are required does anyone know the exact part name or have a part number ? ?
Check with a Lexus dealership on the sensors for valve stems, this is a specific question that a service needs to answer with any credibility. As far as best, few can argue Michelin Exalto A/S are among the best that money can buy. Again, 20" rims for any tire maker is a thinker. I would suggest you get an answer from a Tire Distributor. Both questions require specification that manufacturers are best equipped to answer and not waste your time. Cheers.

I have a 1993 Geo Metro, my uncle sold it to me for 100 dollars for my 16th birthday when I got my license. the drivers side window track broke and I have trouble rolling it up, but I get about 50 miles a gallon. before it was road legal I used it as a 4wheeler.
