My neighbor is building a block wall that will interfere with our view out our front window, can we stop it?
We have lived in the neighborhood for 5 years and my neighbor and I have discussed building a block wall to replace the wrought iron fence between our homes. We also discussed that the new wall will not interfere with our view from our living room window. Now they have started building that wall and their design will interfere with that view, how do I stop them from continuing construction?
Well if the wall is on their property there is not a lot you can do. If the wall is on the property then 1/2 of the thickness is on your prop. you can have it moved but not taken down. However if the wall extends past the front of the house and is in the right of way the city will make They may need a permit.
