36 Led Light for Cams - Int'l 36 Led Light for Cams - Int'l
List Price: $79.99
Sale Price: $21.14

The Sima Ultra Bright Video Light (model SL-20LXi) is an essential accessory for any videographer looking for a quick, lightweight, portable lighting solution that easily outperforms bulkier, hotter, less-reliable standard light units. Designed for compatibility with any camera -- even those without an accessory shoe -- this universal LED video light works with any camcorder, from aging 8mm models to today's advanced digital high-definition cameras. Even large professional video cameras benefit from this small wonder, which puts out an amazing amount of light (600 lumens) in a very compact package. Featuring an array of 36 super bright LED lights, the SL-20LXi effectively illuminates a scene from up to 15-25 feet (4.6 - 7.6 meters) away. When additional power is needed, this light can be interlocked with other SL-20X units for an extra boost of brightness. This unit also features a built-in diffuser to create soft, uniform light, and because LED bulbs are used, it produces virtually no heat and is safe to the touch. In addition, the SL-20LXi can be quickly recharged with the provided AC adapter (an indicator light tells when it's ready), and the powerful lithium-ion battery boasts an average life of 50,000 hours. Plus, the included set of four international adapters allows the unit to be charged even when overseas. Finally, a handy bracket is included to give the user the option to adjust the position of the light, or to attach the light to cameras that don't have an accessory shoe. The bracket also features a tripod mount for steady shooting.

If a Layer Two switch doesn't have the capabilities to run IGMP Snooping, it will be able to run CGMP - Cisco Group Membership Protocol. CGMP allows the multicast router to work with the Layer Two switch to eliminate unnecessary multicast forwarding.

CGMP will be enabled on both the multicast router and the switch, but the router's going to do all the work. The router will be sending Join and Leave messages to the switch as needed. PIM must be running on the router interface facing the switch before enabling CGMP, as you can see:

R1(config)#int e0

R1(config-if)#ip cgmp

WARNING: CGMP requires PIM enabled on interface

R1(config-if)#ip pim sparse

R1(config-if)#ip cgmp

When CGMP is first enabled on both the multicast router and switch, the router will send a CGMP Join message, informing the switch that a multicast router is now connected to it. This particular CGMP Join will contain a Group Destination Address (GDA) of 0000.0000.0000 and the MAC address of the sending interface. The GDA is used to identify the multicast group, so when this is set to all zeroes, the switch knows this is an introductory CGMP Join, letting the switch know that the multicast router is online.

The switch makes an entry in its MAC table that this router can be found off the port that the CGMP Join came in on. The router will send a CGMP Join to the switch every minute to serve as a keepalive.

A workstation connected to the switch on port 0/5 now wishes to join multicast group 225.1.1.1. The Join message is sent to the multicast router, but first it will pass through the switch. The switch will do what you'd expect it to do - read the source MAC address and make an entry for it in the MAC address table as being off port fast 0/5 if there's not an entry already there. (Don't forget that the MAC address table is also referred to as the CAM table or the bridging table.)

The router will then receive the Join request, and send a CGMP Join back to the switch. This CGMP Join will contain both the multicast group's MAC address and the requesting host's MAC address. Now the switch knows about the multicast group 225.1.1.1 and that a member of that group is found off port fast 0/5. In the future, when the switch receives frames destined for that multicast group, the switch will not flood the frame as it would an unknown multicast. Instead, the switch will forward a copy of the frame to each port that it knows leads to a member of the multicast group.

Two major benefits of CGMP are the explicit Join and Leave Group messages. In the next part of this BCMSN exam tutorial, we'll take a look at the Leave Group messages.

Modern system of monitoring dorms

Modern system of monitoring dorms. Maisel SudParis is an non-profit organization whose main mission is to provide accommodation for students of two prestigious French universities: "Telecom SudParis" and "Telecom Ecole de Management" (former INT). The campus located in Evry consists of six buildings with single rooms, studios, apartments, common living areas such as kitchens, dining rooms, laundry rooms, meeting rooms.

In order to counteract vandalism committed on the open access equipment, the administrator decided to install video surveillance system. The system will be launched in February 2010.

It will consist of 106 vandal-proof ACTi cameras integrated by managing and recording software (NVR) - domes with standard resolution (CAM-7321 K1311) and megapixel cameras ACM-7411 K1313. IP technology allows for simple construction of the large system and provides effective management tools. High resolution of the cameras increases the effectiveness of the fight against pathological behavior. Vandal proof housings of the cameras are ideal for such applications - the cameras can operate without fear of being damaged.

After startup of the system the investor expects a significant reduction of vandalism and petty crime.

Basic system architecture of the IP CCTV system

Megapixel cameras are quickly gaining popularity. They set new quality standards in video monitoring, not achievable in previous systems based on analog cameras and typical DVRs. Let's compare a standard D1 camera (720 x 576 = 0.4 Mpix) and "typical megapixel" ACTi camera (1280 x 1024 = 1.3 Mpix) - the latter provides 3 times as much information.

Large and efficient video surveillance systems are using "intelligent" cameras that relieve the main part of the system of some functions. The DVRs/NVRs only record the video streams that are already compressed in the cameras (and the recording process is triggered e.g. by motion detection performed also by the cameras). Such "distributed intelligence" makes the system more reliable and effective - the server does not have to process all the information, the transmission is limited to the pre-processed data.

What do you think my car would do in the 1/4 mile?

The nearest 1/4 track is a few hours away and I don't plan on driving three hour just to race on a 1/4 mile strip. The 1/4 mile calculators state I should be in the upper 12's. Any way this is the project car.

1989 mustang lx
1987 t-bird turbocoupe 2.3 engine
hy35 holset turbo
31x12x3 intercooler
65mm throttlebody
ported intake manifold
3" exhaust
55# injectors
boost controller set at 20 psi
555r drag radials
5 spd trans
3.73 gears
moates tuned chip
longblock & head remaned 1K miles ago
.400 lift cam int&exh. 212* duration

That is quite the impressive setup you have going there.
Your time will depend greatly upon who drives it, what kind of experience do they have in launching a RWD turbo car and what kind of condition the track is in that day. With the modifications you have provided, I would say you should certainly see below 13 seconds, however, as I said earlier, it will depend upon several factors.

The only way to find out is to take it out and give it a shot!

Good luck!

2010 NFL Season Preview: Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens were once one of the top teams in the league. In 2000, led by a stellar defense, they managed to win Super Bowl XXXV. However, ever since then, the Ravens have failed to make a serious push for another title. Sure, they've had a couple of great seasons sprinkled in, but, for the the most part, they haven't even come close. Luckily for them, things appear to be changing in ...
