Prelude body kits for more style
Cars made by Honda are known for their reliability and well thought out design. At one stage they thought of making an exciting car. The result was Prelude which debuted in 1979. It was a two-door sport coupe which was welcomed by the customers. It was admired for its performance, handling, and drive quality. Though it had enough power more power was provided in the later versions. Its fifth and final generation lasted from 1997 to 2001. It was known as a dynamic car having all the standard features. In 1999 and again in 2000 it won the reviewers' award of most wanted best sport coupe. It was nimble and balanced and provided a comfortable ride. However it was phased out in 2001. During its life span Honda had introduced in it new technologies like fuel injection, four-wheel steering, and some newer systems.
After acquiring a car the owners go in for aftermarket products. Body kits are one of the most sought after aftermarket products. They are used to give a new look to a car, and that new look is owner's chosen look. It is a cost effective way to give a new look to a car. Body kits consist of front and rear bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, and side guards. They are made of either metal, or polyurethane, or fiberglass, or carbon fiber. Polyurethane is resistant to minor damage and carbon fiber body kits are light but costly. Different components of Prelude body kits are so designed that they harmonize with each other. There is lot of flexibility in their design and so they are available in a number of designs and styles. It will be better to select them online as it will save you the trouble of visiting various automobile part dealers. It will be a good idea to engage a person well versed in installing body kits to avoid any problem at a later stage.
When you drive Prelude you will appreciate its excellent handling. Prelude body kits chosen by you will impart to it your individual touch that others will like. You can see the latest Prelude body kits at www.ilovebodykits.com

I have a 1978 Camaro that has a loose harmonic balancer on it. I have tried to tighten it to no avail?
If the key way on the crank is messed up how can I fix it other than changing the crank or pulling the engine?
How is is loose?
Is it spinning around and around, or loose pulling/pulling on it.
Not to insulted you but this is yahoo answers and you never know...
Are you sure it's the harmonic damper and not the lower pully.. They are not the same thing
The pully is held on with 3 smaller bolts plus larger center bolt.
The damper is held on with a press fit interface, woodruff keys, and large bolt in center.
If the damper is spinning on crank, then it means your woodruff keys are messed up, or missing, or keyway slot in damper is messed up.
If it's loose pulling/pushing then is's a combo of worn damper hub, worn crank snot, loose or stripped center bolt.
For that you can buy damper repair sleeves, that fit into damper hub, or onto crank snout, then damper goes on like norm.. The sleeve takes up the clearance of the worn metal.
You can also replace center bolt or re tap or helicoil the crank with it still in engine, if the hole is stripped.
Now to the woodruff keys.. Theres 2 types on the SBC engine.. 1 long one, and another one that uses 2 short ones.
Pull damper off, check the keyway groove in damper for wear, if thats the prob replace damper.. Check both or the single woodruff keys for wear, and pull of them lightly with needle noses.. The keys should not move at all.. If they do then the prob is the slot in crank has wear on it or the keys has wear..
You can replace keys with crank in engine still, just have to pull off lower timing chain gear (also take timing cover off)
If it's the slot in crank, thats the prob, well you can fab up something to work.. You will have to get a slightly larger woodruff key, then mark the amount of it that fits into crank, then grind the rest alittle thinner to fit your timing gear and damper slot.
