Here are some more information for Camshaft Timing Gear:

The Honda Accord has come to be synonymous with fantastic fuel economy, drivability, and comfort. The 2010 model is a carryover from the 2008 redesign. However, there have been a few added features that come together to make this Accord the best one ever.
To start with, the Accord has two engine options available, a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine, and a 3.5 liter V6 engine. The four-cylinder engine puts out around 134 horsepower and 110 ft lbs of torque. This engine gets roughly 24 miles per gallon while driving in the city, and 32 miles per gallon while driving on the highway.
These numbers yield an average rating of 26 miles per gallon for this engine. The V6 model gets slightly worse mileage, but is still respectable. The V6 engine gets an average of 19 miles per gallon in the city, and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. These numbers give the V6 engine an average fuel economy of 23 miles per gallon.
Honda has used VTEC technology, which stands for Valve Timing Electronic Controller, for many years. This technology dictates when the valves open and close by using an onboard computer. This technology has lead to the increase in efficiency for Honda's engines since its inception in 1988. However, there have been many improvements to the technology over the years. Recent VTEC engines are equipped with cylinder selection, which means that cylinders can be turned off under light loads in order to increase fuel efficiency.
The 2010 Honda Accord is mated to a five speed automatic transmission. This engine has a high gear ratio. The engine's high gear ratio makes it extremely fuel-efficient.

Getting to Know your Timing Belt
You are probably confused with the job of your Saab belts. How about reading this article, with notes from an online source, to get the know-how on one of those belts? – The timing belts.
Timing Belts are tightened rubber bands or sometimes chains used to proportion the turnings of the crankshafts and camshafts in internal combustion engines. In the inner part of some timing belts are teeth that will correspond to the gears of a specific engine design. Older vehicles have timing belts used only to synchronize camshafts and crankshafts. But with today’s modern engines, they are also often used to drive the water pumps.
The timing belts must keep the valves and the pistons working in an accurate order. At just the right time, each valve and piston combination must push down on the individual cams on a camshaft. It is like pedaling a bicycle, where the pedal must reach the top before you can push it down again. Your foot will either fall through or just break the pedal right off if you tried to push the pedal too soon. Timing belts work to prevent the pushing of the pistons and the valves on the camshaft before it has reached a full cycle.
Timing belts have a life-span of at least 60,000 miles, but some of the modern designs will last the whole life of the engine. They should be replaced in accordance to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
If the timing belt fails completely, the engine will just grind to a halt and the vehicle will totally not work. The valves and pistons can drive themselves into the camshaft, thereby causing them to just bend and brake. A very little warning is executed by a failing timing belt so it is wise that a timely timing belt replacement be made.
The professionals are responsible for replacing them because a lot of peripheral parts like the distributor and may be the water pump has to be removed for it to become accessible. New timing belts have to exactly match the old ones. The vehicle with broken timing belts has to be towed into the shop. And when the timing belt has been replaced, the mechanic has to synchronize the camshaft and the crankshaft with a special kind of strobe light. Repairing the broken timing belt could take several hours, but it’s all worth it.
The mechanic may also suggest that the water pump be changed at the same time with the timing belt. No need to worry because it will probably be worth your while in the long run. This is because just about all the work is done to replace the water pump when the timing belt is being changed; which means it will not require any additional labor as compared to repeating all that work and the mechanic would then charge again for the labor if the water pump has to fail at a later stage.

is it simple to fit a camshaft scensor on a vauxhall astra 51 1.6 petrol?
iv bought a car from auction i was driving it home and every time i slowed down or dropped a gear down the car would cut out and the oil light and engine management light would come on can anyone diagnose this problem?
i doubt its the crankshaft sensor..
i would look at the tick over valve on the throttle body/injection system.
2011 Mustang is a win-win: Trims gas use, pumps up power
LOS ANGELES — The Ford Mustang is ubiquitous. More than 9 million have been manufactured over the last 47 years, driven by generations of owners, including my mechanic’s son, my neighbor’s daughter, even my very own mother. But none are quite like the 2011 version, which got a radical and somewhat unusual update for a muscle car. It simultaneously ramps up the performance and the fuel economy.

Yes some good info. There is a lot of info out there on the correct’ golf swing but is there really a right and wrong? Everyone swings the club differently. I think if you get the fundamentalists right such as a sound set up, grip etc then you are on your way. Most high handicap golfs try to work on building a perfect swing rather than concentrating on a perfect strike. I have seen some awful swings but they strike the ball well and consistantly, and that is the key!!
Magnificent web site. Lots of useful info here. I am sending it to some pals ans also sharing in delicious. And obviously, thank you in your effort!
