My chevy 350 engine is making a loud wineing sound....What is it?

I Just got doing a lot of stuff to my engine, now when i start it up it makes this loud wineing sound...like WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! thats the best way i can discribe it.It gets louder when i rev the engine up.The year of the engine is between 71'-73'... I relpaced the intake manifold gaskets, value cover gaskets, put in a new water pump, new 100% aluminum radiator, new pertronix distributor, new fan, and new holley fuel pump! what could it be? I thought it could be the alternator belt making the noise, but im not sure. I need some expert advise on this one please!!!!!! REALLY NEED HELP FINDING OUT WHATS WRONG!!! Thanks

I would check your belts. Thats really all there is it could be. It doesnt always work but try spraying some lubricant on the belts while its running and then rev it up and see if it goes away, if it does, replace whatever belt its making the noise, or just replace them all. If the lube trick doesnt work make sure they arent too tight or too loose because that can cause them to wine also. If none of that works then just replace them and that should fix it. Just dont tighten them too much or leave them too loose because that can cause them to wine also.
