Here are some more information for Chrysler Dodge Plymouth:

DaimlerChrysler's Dodge division has certainly been making a name for itself over the past decade. No longer in the shadow of Chrysler or a carbon copy of Plymouth, Dodge has its own vehicles stamped with its own unique personality. The Charger is Dodge's latest hot model; what can Dodge do for an encore? Read on for all the exciting details!
Caliber - The compact Neon is dead and a replacement vehicle is waiting in the wings by the name of Caliber. Sporting Dodge's signature crosshair grille, the Caliber resembles a Chrysler Pacifica but it is in the Chrysler PT Cruiser's size range. This five door wagon-like vehicle features jacked up wheel arches and a sloped roofline that tapers off to a rear hatch spoiler. On demand all wheel drive is expected to be one of the car's options. Built on a Mitsubishi Lancer platform, the Caliber has been planned to go toe-to-toe with the VW Golf and Mazda 3. The Caliber is expected to debut in early 2006 as a 2007 model.
Nitro - Dodge gets a small SUV, the Nitro which is a rebadged and slightly reworked Jeep Liberty. As is customary with all contemporary Dodges, the Nitro sports the Dodge crosshair grille and unique wheel arches. Everything else about the Nitro is expected to be virtually the same as the Liberty including engine and transmission choices. The Nitro is expected to debut late in 2006.
Charger Coupe - Okay, I am dreaming. So are a lot of other people who are just itching for Dodge to release a two door version of the awesome Charger. The word about Charger is this: half the people like the sedan and the other half are disappointed it wasn't developed as a coupe. No confirmation has been made, but a coupe may show up in late 2007 joining with [not replacing] the current sedan.
Love Those Vans - Chrysler is nearing the end of the life cycle for the current crop of minivans which still outsells any competitor on the market. Stow 'N Go has been such a popular hit that any redesign will be built around this nifty feature. Expect the newest rendition of the Caravan and the Chrysler Town and Country to show up some time in 2008.
So, there you have it. The division that at one time gave us the Aries K and Omni now features the Viper, Ram, Dakota, Durango, and a host of other exciting vehicles. Dodge fans are pinching themselves hoping that it isn't all a dream. Well, it isn't and the upcoming models promise to uphold Dodge's new found place in The Chrysler Group.

Plymouth Parts – Continuing the Plymouth Legacy
Plymouth, which debuted in the automobile business in 1928, was initially a marque of Chrysler Corporation of affordable vehicles as a competent counterpart for automakers Chevrolet and Ford. Although the Plymouth models then were targeted for the least expensive market, the vehicles were slightly higher in price but managed to offset that with the decent Plymouth parts like the hydraulic brakes, among others. Nonetheless, the Plymouth models salvaged the Chrysler Corporation’s sales during the Great Depression in the 1940s and carried on until the following year.
The Chrysler Corporation-produced marque may have started slowly but eventually established its name in the industry. Plymouth gradually climbed up the ranks of popular brands in the United States with its ‘Forward Look’ campaign. With the success of the campaign, Plymouth enjoyed its most fruitful year to date in 1957 as it sold 200, 000 vehicles more compared from the previous fiscal year.
Like any other business, Chrysler’s Plymouth did not always enjoy golden years as it also had its share of lows too. The volatile taste of the market thought that some of the car designs were not that appropriate. In addition to that, motorists preferred to purchase the cheapest cars available in the market like those from Plymouth’s sister company Dodge. In a few years, Plymouth managed to get back on track with its well-renowned compact models like the Plymouth Duster, Valiant, Voyager, and Reliant. But due to financial difficulties of Chrysler as well as stiff competition, Plymouth ended its production while some of its models were rebadged under Chrysler in 2001. The Plymouth Neon, Cruiser, Prowler, and Voyager were among the last cars that made it to the last batch of production for the Chrysler marque.
After seven decades in the business, it was indeed a roller coaster ride for the Plymouth brand. Its decent share of lows, however, do not equate that the models are long forgotten. There are still Plymouth models that continuously cruise the streets today. These cars may no longer have all the original Plymouth parts, as maintenance requires replacing some automotive components, but the legacy of this Chrysler marque remains.

Can I replace the Dodge Intrepid 2.7L engine with an older chrysler 3.2?
I have a 1999 Intrepid with engine problems, surprise surprise, it has the 2.7L. Now, I've been trying to find a way to fix this car with my meager economic resources. My dad says he knows where I can get a 3.2L, but it's an older vehicle. My guess would be early to mid 90's at best, it's also a Plymouth van. So, any automotive experts out there who can offer an opinion? Could it possibly work in my car?
Well anything is possible. It depends on who is doing the work. I would tell you to try to find a replacement engine from similar car. Look for a low mile car from a salvage yard near you. Good luck!!!
