Here are some more information for Chrysler Yorker Imperial:

A venerable name in autodom is being resurrected and it will soon grace the body of a large, rear wheel drive luxury car. After a successful "concept car" debut at a pair of recent auto shows, the Chrysler Imperial will be built and should be in U.S. showrooms in 2010. Yes, it will be a long wait for the Imperial's return but the car must first await additional changes within DaimlerChrysler before it can be built. Read on to learn more about the Imperial's impending return.
The Chrysler Imperial that has been currently making the rounds at various auto shows has been well received. Visitors have remarked favorably about the car's Bentley like look as well as its cavernous interior and luxury appointments. Currently, the brand has nothing larger or more luxurious to offer buyers who might want to upgrade from the 300C, thus Chrysler has been regularly losing buyers to more luxurious brands, something parent DaimlerChrysler [DCX] wants to stem.
The Imperial name can be traced all the way back to 1926 when Walter P. Chrysler decided to take on Lincoln and Packard with a luxury model all of its own. From its inception, the Imperial has always represented the top of the line vehicle for Chrysler and it has, at various times, been marketed as its own make. Various versions of the Imperial have shown up over the years, with most of them being ultra luxurious versions of Chrysler's New Yorker model.
The 2011 Chrysler Imperial will be similar in design to the concept car, but without the suicide doors. Chrysler put the special doors on the concept car in order to make it easier for auto show visitors to see inside the vehicle. Still, reports from the company are indicating that the 22 inch wheels, Bentley grille, boxy body, and leather/wood trim would be included. Prices for the Imperial will not be announced for several more years, but it could retail for as high as $60,000 according to some reports. Currently, the top of the line 300C maxes out at around $42,000.
So, why the hold up? Well, for one thing the Imperial program will be an added expense for DCX. Currently, the company is in the process of making its Mercedes line up more profitable and that involves the expense of updating several models. Based on the Mercedes "R Class" body, the coming Imperial is likely to be built on an updated version of the R Class platform. Both cars would arrive in dealer showrooms at the same time as 2011 models, hence the long lead time.
The Imperial concept sits on a frame with a 123 inch wheelbase. The car measures 214 long, much longer than the 300C. Reports are indicating that the concept car dimensions are likely to be retained.
For Chrysler fans, the Imperial represents further strengthening of the Chrysler-Mercedes relationship. By using a Mercedes platform, the Imperial can be built and will give Chrysler a much needed product. With a standard V8 mated to a five or six speed automatic the car will certainly not be on the fuel efficient side. However, my best guess is that the car will also come optionally equipped with a thrifty Mercedes built turbo diesel, a first for any Chrysler car.

Care Of Fresh Cut Roses
The care of fresh cut roses is best done if you cut your roses when partly opened, preferably on a sunny afternoon day. Don't cut more stem than you need (unless the plant has grown too tall), and make the cut one - quarter inch above a five -part leaf.
Immediately after cutting you should condition them for an hour or two before using them in an arrangement, bouquet, or corsage. This is how you do this:
1 - First wash off any soil or spray residue with warmer, not cold, water that is on the leaves and remove any lower leaves that will be below your water line in the vase.
2 - Scrap off the thorns below the leaves with a sharp knife.
3 - Make a new, sharply slanting cut at the end of the stem and scrape a little bark off the lower inch or so. This helps the roses to absorb water.
4 - Place the roses in room-temperature water. The water should be deep enough to reach up to the lower leaves.
5 - Stand container in a cool place, out of drafts, and in an hour or two the roses will be ready for use.
Roses that have wilted-either because they are not placed in water soon enough or from drafts- can usually be revived by this procedure:
Cut off the lower inch or so of the stem at a slant. Make two scrapes one to two inches long at the base. Place the scraped part in hot water- not boiling, but a little too hot to hold your hand in - and leave them in the water until the water cools. Then place them in cold water up to the base of the flowers. In about an hour they should be totally revived and strong enough for arranging.
Keep your bouquet or arrangement away from direct heat and drafts. Add water and rose food as necessary to keep the stems well immersed.
Some of the best roses for cutting are:
Dark Red Roses such as Carrousel, Chrysler Imperial, Crimson Glory, Nocturne and Miranda
Medium Red Roses such as Starfire, New Yorker and El Capitan
Light Red or Dark Pink such as Charlotte Armstrong, Montezuma, Tallyho and Red Radiance
Medium Pink such as Queen Elizabeth, Duet, Pink Favorite, Pink Peace and Show Girl
Light Pink such as First Love, Pink Princess, Picture and Radiance
Deep Yellow such as Lowell Thomas and Gold Glow
Medium Yellow such as Eclipse, Burnaby, Buccaneer and King's
Ransom
Light Yellow like McGredy's Yellow
White such as White Knight, June Bride, White Queen and Pedralbes
Orange and Orange Blend such as McGredy's Sunset, Mrs. Sam McGredy, Mojave, Aztec and Hawaii
Apricot Blend like Paramount
Yellow Blend such as Peace, Garden Party, Sutter's Gold and Lady Elgin
Pink Blend such as Tiffany, President Herbert Hoover, Mission Bells, Confidence and Good News
There are several others. You should check at your local gardening center to find which grow best in your climate.
The care of fresh cut roses is not hard to do and very rewarding.

Will Chrysler bring back the New Yorker one day?
I grew up with my grandma's 1990 New Yorker and that was the best car ever!! It had such a quite ride and she replaced it with a toyota that really can't compare.. I remeber when a friend of my family got the 1996 New Yorker when it was new and it was soo nice and then Chrysler stopped making it all together.. But I heard they have a Chrysler Imperial concept car so maybe they will bring back the New Yorker... I really hope they do, what does anyone else think?
With any luch they will bring it back, but the quality of the newer vehicles doesn't impress me. I don't think the ride quality and features will ever compare to the 90's new yorkers which had so many unique features that we don't see anymore. You can never compare ride quality from an Japanese import, it's just not there.
Here's hopeing to the revival of the New Yoker !
