Are there any interchangeable automatic transmissions for the 1995 Chrysler Cirrus LXi with a 2.5L V6?
I was wondering if I could use a '95 Dodge Stratus or a Plymouth Breeze transmission in a '95 Cirrus. I can't find one for a '95 Cirrus anywhere for under $300.
If it's a Stratus equipped with the 2.5L V6 like yours, it will fit. I believe the 2.4L 4 cylinder uses a different bellhousing bolt pattern. Both are the 41TE transaxle so the internal parts are interchangeable, but not worth the labour of stripping the internal parts to transfer from one to the other. Hope this helps.
