Clutch loose in Civic del Sol?
There is no resistance at all in my clutch when I start the car. Here's the interesting part, though: if I pump the clutch pedal for about 30 seconds, the resistance comes back on, and I am able to shift gears without any problems. It sounds to me like this might be caused by a fluid leak, but I don't know much about cars, so I thought I'd ask. I'd like to be able to fix it and not take the car to a mechanic. Thanks, I appreciate any advice.
what you describe is a leak in the clutch master cylinder.. or a leak on a line.. look under the car for a fluid leak on the clutch parts.. them just replace the clotch cylinder.. http://p-car.com/diy/cscr/ read this two times and then go to work if you dont have tools and a jack buy it now the cost of repair will be greater than the cost of tools and jacks. ok.
