Do you know where the relay is located.
If it is an automatic,Maybe the shift relay has gone bad. It is a relay switch that causes the shifter to unlock when you mash the brake. Do you have a shift over ride button? If you do, you could use that until you get the relay changed.
I am not sure where the Shift lock solenoid is on your vehicle. Do you have the owners manual? If not you can probably call an auto parts store and ask them. They should be able to tell you. Hope I have helped you.
