id go with a programmer,the reason i like them is it allows you to dial in the timing and also reset the rpm range it cuts out on and it also allows you to change the shift pattern on it,its basically a performance package and when installed right and programmed right you can gain an enormous amount of horse power from it,once you do this then decide what else it needs,but that would be the first thing i would add to it,you,d be surprised of what a good programmer will do for it,good luck.
