If you are going to be racing your motorcycle it's important to have the right tires for the track. You may not know what ones are going to be good for your bike, but it's not that hard if you know to look for.
Taking the time to find the right tires is an important part of your racing. It really depends on what kind of like you drive and what kind of racing that you do. If you are a dirt bike racer, you will need different tires then if you are racing a sport bike. It also may depend on the track that you are racing on. Your tires are very important motorcycle parts.
If you race a dirt bike, you will need a totally different tire than if you race a sport bike on a track that made of concrete. The kinds of tires that are needed for dirt bikes need to have more tread because they are being driven on a dirt track. This means that they need to be able to grip the ground better then if it was a cement track. Tires are a very important part of your motorcycle parts and you should have extras at the race.
If you would rather ride a sport bike for your racing needs, you will probably do better with a slick tire that will grip the ground and get you moving faster. These tires are normally soft and heat up very quickly. That is what helps them to stick to the ground when you are racing. You may need to include them with your motorcycle parts that you normally will bring to races.
Having good motorcycle tires will ensure that you do well with your race and you may even come out the winner. You need to make sure that you have the right motorcycle parts for the rates that are doing. Tires are a big deal when you are racing, because this can either help you win the race or help you lose it. When you are picking the tires for the race, make sure that you pick some good ones so that you will be a winner that day. As you can see taking the time to add this to your motorcycle parts list, it's a really good idea for you and your motorcycle racing needs. So get your tires and get going.

How is your connection with your vehicle?
What else in your car or truck gives you more of a sense of your autos performance than the steering wheel, shift knob, and your pedals, these commonly overlooked accessories deserve more attention than they normally get. As our only connection to the auto, this is where you feel what is going on with your ride. So lets take a quick look at what we are all overlooking.
First lets take a look at the steering wheels the direct connection to the front tires and in some cases all four tires. Having a steering wheel that fits your grip and driving style is an important factor to consider while adding accessories to your ride. Leather, polyurethane, and rubber are just a few of the materials used in aftermarket driving wheels. Aluminum typically makes up their frame with the other materials used for grip and design features. Aggressive styling and quality materials are a must, don't settle for a cheapo china made product that you will only be disappointed with in the long run. If you are seriously considering a steering wheel shop around and find an affordable quality product that you can be proud of for years to come.
Next being the gear shifter knob the direct connection to your transmission and all your engines power. The shift knob needs to be comfortable to hold and easily gripped, but it also needs to add to your rides overall interiors appearance. After all would we even bother with all the accessories if nobody was ever going to see them. Shift knobs come in a variety of styles, colors, and materials. Being a simple way to customize your ride, with simple fast installation, the shifter is a very easy upgrade that is affordable as well. Deciding which to purchase is sometimes a difficult task, but at their affordable price you might get a few so you can switch them out depending on your mood.
Next lets look at the pedal pads one of the most important direct connections, how else could we control all those ponys under the hood. The pedals get more use than just about all other parts of your autos interior. Pedals are almost always forgotten when it comes to accessories for your car or truck. If your ride is a few years old then you can be sure that your pedals are getting worn out. Most OEM pedals are rubber which gives decent grip in dry conditions but get it wet and your shoes may slip. Many aftermarket pedals address this issue with raised areas that create extra grip when wet. We should all treat our feet and get a new set of pedals.
Most of the time when auto enthusiast think about steering wheels, shift knobs, and pedal pads they think of MOMO, Grant or maybe Sparco, but there is another choice, new to the US auto accessory market…SHUTT a high quality brand manufactured in Brazil and distributed by ShuttUSA.com here in the states. They have participated in the last few SEMA shows with great feedback from retailers as well as customers looking for the latest and greatest that the SEMA show has to offer. The people at SEMA even noticed their designs and gave them awards in design. The SHUTT products are very stylish targeting the race, tuner, and muscle car markets but that doesn't mean SHUTT forgot about those restoring cars and trucks, some of the designs work very well in restored vehicles. With SHUTT auto accessories retail pricing being 20% lower than the competitors similar products it makes it a viable choice for retailers and consumers.
The SHUTT brand items are all universal and very easy to install. For instance the shift knobs have a hole 17/32" in size which fits most vehicles, they attach by 3 hidden set screws, easily tightened with the supplied allen tool. The pedal pads can be mounted quickly with brackets or for an even more secure feel, drill and screw them to your original pedals. Now you might think that adding a pedal pad to your original pedal might bring your pedal closer or make it feel thicker but Shutt pedals are thin and go unnoticed after your first test drive. The steering wheels are a bit more involved as far as installation goes. While purchasing a steering wheel, you will also need a car specific adapter hub, Shutt USA suggest the NRG innovation adapter hubs for the SHUTT steering wheels but any 6 bolt hub will work. So take a look at what connects you to your ride and if it needs upgraded consider a new steering wheel, gear shifter knob, or steering wheel or other interior accessory and visit Shutt USA.

97 Prelude Knock Sensor error code?
I have purchase this car from a guy in another state. I try to register in california but they need to ge the car smok first. I have notice an engine check light and the code said knock sensor error. I have replace 2 sensors, once from dealer and another from a friend with a good sensor. After installing and reset the computer and 1/2 mile drives, the code come back again on both sensors. I have measure the knock sensor connector to the computer and there is continuity. I don't know what to do from here. Either a bad computer or another bad sensor again.
This car had a skunk 2 cam gear installed. About the camshaft i have no clue. Dont know how to spot the different between aftermarket and OEM.
I heard that knock sensor have to do with timming. Do you think this Skunk 2 will effect the sensor?
Please help, I don't want to drive this car without a sticker. Thanks You for your help in advance.
The knock sensor listens for the PING of preignition in the cylinders, usually caused by using the wrong octane gas. When it registers a PING, the EMC changes the timing a bit, until the PING is gone. If you've replaced the sensor, then maybe it's doing it's job & registering a PING. Better get it fixed, because the reason the manufacturer put it there is that bad preignition can blow the head off your car.
