These engines are now manufactured in accordance with Tier 11 and Tier 111 EPA emissions standards. These are standards that were introduced gradually by the US EPA to reduce emissions/pollution from diesel combustion engines.

I know that I cannot increase the bore of the engine any farther than its stock bore...
What is the largest displacement I can get by increasing the stroke?
Will using a different set of connecting rods help increase the displacement? (if so what is the largest displacement I can get by increasing the stroke and using a different set of connecting rods?)

different connecting rods will no do anything at all, to increase stroke you need a stroker crankshaft, and subsequently you will have to get the appropriate length connecting rods as well. i personally would not mess with the LS7. Stock that motor is pretty well tapped out and the Z06 is plenty fast for a street car in my opinion
