Oil pressure goes to about 5psi at idle.?

I own a 1997 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5L 5 speed. I recently put a new engine in it after the old engine started dropping oil pressure after only 100,000miles were on it. I only replace the under half of the engine (ie crankcase, crankshaft, main bearings, rod bearing, oil pump, lifters, cam, and cam bearings) and now this engine after only about 5000 miles is dropping oil pressure to about 5psi at idle and 40-45 psi at 2000RPM. I have replaced the oil pressure sending unit and tried a mechanical Gauge and i get the same readings with 10w 30 motor oil (I have also tried 10w 40). What could be the problem? Anything would help. Thanks in advance.
