When purchasing custom 16", 18", or 17" wheels, it is vital that you are aware of the available options. This is extremely important to ensure that you will not only get a perfect fit but also the best value for your money. That being said, a thorough online research will help to locate shops offering affordable wheel packages and incredible wheel discounts.
There can be a great deal of difference between factory original alloy wheels and replicas and to a great extent this difference carries on into sales of used wheels. This is not to say that buying used wheels is always a bad idea, but if your main aim is making your car look sportier and more attractive, bear in mind that chrome coated alloy wheels are never going to look as good used as they do new.
The internet is perhaps the best place to find amazing product rebates, superb wheel packages, and good discounts. With an ever-changing wheel market, the introduction of newer wheel styles and designs allow older models to devalue. This means that you can take advantage of discounts provided by auto shops especially when they are about to bring out a new line of aftermarket wheels. Normally, different online or offline shops change their product lines according to season. Therefore, you have to grab the opportunity to find a good set of aftermarket wheels during seasonal or inventory sales.
Another viable way to end up with an affordable yet high-quality aftermarket wheels is to visit discount automotive sites. There are lots of discount sites available online. All of which offering product rebates 24/7. The percentage of price rebates that they offer can range from 20 up to 80 percent depending on the store. You may have to compromise on the exact design you like but it will certainly be cheaper.
Considering second hand or used aftermarket wheels is also an excellent way of saving a bunch. Since brand new wheels can be quite expensive, buying used ones can be a feasible alternative. Some people are hesitant to entertain this idea because they are afraid that quality will be greatly compromised. Although in terms of quality brand new ones are certainly better than second hand varieties, it doesn't mean that you won't find used aftermarket wheels that are still in perfect and untarnished condition. In fact, if you only know where to look you can end up with branded aftermarket wheels that have been rarely used by the previous owner.
If you are really eager to upgrade your OEM wheels but you do not want to spend a fortune, it is best that you take time to do an extensive research to find the best deals on cheap aftermarket wheels offering premium grade quality (such as inexpensive chrome 17" wheels).

Vibration and Noise Free Engine Made Possible With Pontiac Engine Mount
The engine is undoubtedly one of the most indispensable parts of your Pontiac vehicle. Considered as the heart of your car, this car component is mainly responsible for converting fuel into mechanical energy so that your car would work. It does this by burning the fuel through the combustion process. It is made up of various parts, and these include the spark plug, connecting rod, piston, valves, piston rings, sump and crankshaft. There are different types of engines, such as 2 stroke engines and 4 stroke engines—but they all share the same function. Aside from the fact that your engine makes it possible for your car to move, your internal combustion engine also tells you if something is going wrong with your car. Some of the telltale signs of engine trouble include pinging, grinding, squeaking, chirping or knocking noises. This can be prevented if you know how to properly take care of your car. Among the basic maintenance procedures you can employ to prolong the service life of your engine is by periodically cleaning and inspecting them.
Another way of keeping your engine in tip top shape is by equipping it with a Pontiac engine mount. As you drive, your engine is exposed to a lot of stresses—and that can be a major cause of engine failure. The Pontiac engine mount prevents premature engine failure by significantly reducing engine noise and vibration. A typical car has a front engine mount and a rear engine mount. When this device is added on your car, it enables the engine to be kept in its proper location. This is possible, because the engine mount connects your engine to the framework or chassis of your car. A typical Pontiac engine mount is made up of a padded bolt and nut assembly in rubber or steel construction. The rubber padding is used to cushion the engine against vibrations. On the other had, the metal brackets keep the engine secured into the chassis of your Pontiac. Not only that, a complete engine mount assembly has a number of features. Some of these include a built-in signal capability, encoder/limit connector, positive motor alignment, and an integral motor.
After about 60,000 miles of driving, your Pontiac engine mount may wear out. Some of the things that you should look for are visible engine mount damage, shifted engine block, separated rubber from the mounting plate, fluid leakage, and fasteners that cannot be torqued. When you have got some damaged engine mounts, it could result to severe engine knocking. Engine knocking happens when there is a lot of uncontrolled vibration in your engine compartment. You must have your worn out engine mount repaired immediately by a competent auto mechanic to solve the problem. However, if your Pontiac engine mount is beyond repair, you might as well replace it with a new one. Just keep in mind that engine mounts are not a one-size-fits-all component. You must ensure that you buy an engine mount replacement that matches the configurations of your car. That way, you can be sure that your engine will be free from any road noise and vibration in any road condition.

How does engine bearings affect oil pressure?
i have 97 intrepid 3.5 liter. i've replaced rod bearings twice, and still they act as if there not getting oil, and it seems that valves may be sticking, due to lack of oil. I followed directions from haynes manual. this eng has been a nightmare. tho i'm no profesional mech., I'm confident i can fix this, just stumped and need help from a profesional, plz. i know rebuilding is only hope, but cant afford now. any way to get a few more miles out of it? I suspect eng main bearings may need to be replaced to restore eng oil pressure. according to what i have read. the eng. has enough pressure to make the oil light go off, and with the spark plugs removed, just cranking the eng. oil is pumped to the heads, noticed this when i primmed the pump before starting after first re-bearing. overheating caused the bearing to fail first time, am i missing something?
sounds like more than just rod bearings, pressure is created by a restriction of flow, an oil pump creates flow small tolerances create a restriction of flow thus creating pressure, if you have excessive clearance in cam/main/rod bearings this can lower pressure due to lack of sufficient restriction of flow.
