White smoke coming from the tail pipe?
Hello@ Everyone, so I just finished changing my timing belt on Mazda protege 1.5 1996 and when i need it to loosen crankshaft bolt i filled my first piston with motor oil, then i place spark plug on its place and was able to take crankshaft pulley bolt off, i did the same thing to piston 2 to tighten the very same bolt. After I use small hand vacuum pump to suck as much oil as i could from the cylinders that were filled, and now i put everything together and started the car and got lots of white smoke from the tail pipe. Any ideas? Thanks in advance?
That's what i Thought but was not sure, thanks will wait some time to see if it goes away:)
you are probably just burning off the oil left in the cylinder. Let it run for 10 or 15 minutes and it should all burn off.
