Here are some more information for Mopar Dodge Alternator:

If you have been wondering how fuel-grade biodiesel works, you can be confident that it works just like regular diesel does. And like your normal diesel fuel, you can only use biodiesel in a car with a diesel engine, such as some of the older model Mercedes-Benz, and of course, many trucks.
But if you're looking for a way to save money in the face of rising fuel costs, then it might be worth thinking about getting a Diesel beater than you can use for your daily commute. What's more, you could actually save money by converting your car to run on straight vegetable oil rather than the processed and refined biodiesel. In fact, if you're considering diesel this is probably the best way to go because refined biodisel is actually hard to come by, but waste vegetable oil is plentiful and frequently free.
What is Biodiesel?
Biodiesel is a fuel that isn't made from petroleum. It's manufactured from vegetable oils. During the refining process, the vegetable oil is altered so that it will be able to work efficiently as a fuel source. The glycerin needs to be removed from the oil to reduce the viscosity of the fuel. Otherwise you car or truck wouldn't be able to use it properly.
Once the biodiesel is created, then it can be combined with petroleum diesel or used on its own. Frequently, if Biodiesel is available at the pump at a gas station, it will only be a small part of the diesel that you end up pumping into your tank.
Using Raw Vegetable Oil for Fuel
Raw vegetable oil can also be used to fuel your car or truck, either as straight vegetable oil (SVO) or as waste vegetable oil (WVO) which can be collected from restaurants and other places that use a lot of vegetable oil. In this case though, some modifications will need to be made to the vehicle since the glycerin will still be in the oil. In order to use SVO or WVO as fuel, you need to make sure that the viscosity is reduced before it gets to the injector.
Frequently, cars that have been modified to run on straight vegetable oil are referred to as Grease Cars by their fans. Imagine, running your car on grease! And if you have a ready supply of vegetable oil, your fuel costs could be reduced to virtually nil. In fact, if you have oil heat in your home, that can also be converted to take waste vegetable oil and since the cost of oil appears to be rising all the time, that's something else to think about.
If you want to convert your car to run on waste oil or straight vegetable oil, there are Biodiesel Kits and plans than can help you get started saving lots of money on fuel.

How a Full-Service Auto Repair Center in Bradenton 34207 Can Benefit You
Why should you choose a full-service auto repair center? Of what benefit would it be to you as a vehicle owner? A lot. Allow this article to enumerate the many benefits you will get from a full-service auto repair center in Bradenton 34207. Of course, the location itself is important. For your convenience, you should get a full-service auto repair center right in Bradenton 34207 if you are from the area. There is just no sense in patronizing an auto repair center elsewhere.
Aside from being in the right location, what other benefits should you expect from a full-service auto repair center? For one thing, an automotive center that offers full-service car repair and maintenance will have cutting edge diagnostic services that cover even computer diagnostics, and will be doing all major and minor general repairs, extending up to advanced computer reprogramming.
It is best to choose a full-service auto repair center that employs experienced and highly qualified automotive mechanics holding certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). To achieve such an ASE certification, an automotive mechanic should have shown documentary proof of relevant work experience and then pass a specialization test. ASE certified automotive mechanics have to undergo retesting every five years or else their certification will not be renewed. This will give you the assurance that only the best kind of work is done on your vehicle.
Another advantage of going to a full-service auto repair center is that such an auto service will have all the necessary expertise and experience in handling a wide range of foreign and domestic automotive brands and makes including that of Cadillac, Chevrolet, GM, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Dodge, Jeep, Plymouth, Chrysler, Daewoo, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Volkswagen,Volvo, Acura, Honda, Lexus, Scion, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Hyundia, Mazda, or Suzuki. It will also be an authorized dealer of genuine and best quality automotive parts that are highly reliable as replacements, such as AC Delco, Bosch, Remy, Motorcraft, Mopar, Goodyear, Dayco, Echlin, Standard, Cardone, Autolite, NGK, Akebono, Nipedenso, and Denso.
A full-service auto repair center will be knowledgeable in managing electronic steering, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power convertible tops, power sunroofs and power locks. It can capably perform electrical troubleshooting for all types of electrical shorts, and do repair work on alternators, hoses, belts and timing belts. It is able to give the same level of quality work to simple tasks such as auto air conditioning (A/C) repair as to more difficult tasks such as engine rebuild and engine replacement for automotive engines.
To be considered a truly full-service auto repair center, the shop will routinely be taking care of vehicles’ cooling systems, radiators and transmission service repair and maintenance including transmission flush, inspection and mending of oil leaks and oil change service. It is expected to have the necessary expertise in handling brakes, tractions control systems and antilock brake systems (ABS), as well as body systems, front suspension, rear suspension, air suspension and air bag systems. It will be very familiar with the installation, maintenance and repair of automotive anti theft systems, remote starters and key reprogramming.
A full-service auto repair center is also most likely to be able to offer you the best possible professional nationwide warranty program that covers both parts and labor for a period of one year or for 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
A full-service auto repair center in Bradenton 34207 can indeed offer you a lot of benefits as a vehicle owner. If you still do not have such a trusted auto service, do not waste time in finding one. Do not wait until your vehicle breaks down before you do so or you may be forced to make do with inferior auto repair service.

Why doesn't my Dodge Avenger start in cold weather suddenly?
I have a 98' Avenger that I keep regular maintenance on and it is in excellent working order. I live in western NY and the temperature this week has been in the 1-5 range with a wind chill of -20. Three times this weekend my car needed a jump to get started; none of my neighbors cars failed to start neither did my wifes. Oh yeah, it is a Mopar battery purchased 2 years ago.
This happened 3 weeks ago and my father came to give me a jump. He noticed some corrosion on the terminals, but after that 1st jump the car kept starting fine. I have yet to clean the terminals.
Here's where I'm confused. I go to start the car and it makes the whirring noise. After 2 or 3 trys, the indicators no longer light up and the car makes a clicking sound, which I think means the battery is drained.
After connecting cables, the car will start immediately. My radio and clock are re-set.
Could the corrosion prevent the battery from starting/charging or is it something worse, like the alternator?
It may be the alternator or loose connections on the battery.
Oh and to Arfonse D learn something. While it is a Dodge Avenger, it is a Mistubushi platform and drivetrain.
1996 Dodge Ram Indy Pace Truck from North America - Comments
Shifting problems from second to third when cold. Check engine light always on. P/s power window intermittent. Catalytic converter rattle. Steering gearbox leak at lower shaft. Had to replace gear box at 55,000 miles.
