So you are thinking of installing some Infinity car speakers. It's not the easiest thing to do, especially if you haven't tried it before, so how can you guarantee you will get the best out of them? Here are a few things to think about before you start the job.

The first thing to do is to make sure you are using the right Infinity car amplifier otherwise you may find you continuously blow your speakers. This is not a problem with the manufacturer but rather you the user.

Car audio speakers will blow for two reasons. The first most people understand i.e. you have pumped too much power into them. So if yours are rated at 200 watts and you are pumping 500 watts into them, what do you expect to happen?

The second reason they could be blowing is down to your amplifier not being strong enough. Let's use an extreme example. Say you were using a 100 watt amp with 1000 watt speakers. The sound is easy to forget. But a bad sound can destroy the most wonderful picture. It is great if you can listen to the sound more privately or try to be there when there are few customers.

Stereo sound is the most common but is not necessarily automatically hifi-quality. You can often get a better sound if you connect the TV sound to your own equipment or put up extra speakers.

A TV wall mount will in the coming years be the most sold TV equipment. The prices will go down and the weight will be reduced considerably. They will be easy to mount and with great sound and picture. To put it simple, it is the future.

Had the same problem with my 01 DeVille. I found the large ground wire from the alternator bracket to the car frame was completely corroded off. A lot of gadgets on this car will not work when this happens.
