I accidentally bought an oil filter the worked with a 2.5 engine for my 1.8 engine 2006 Nissan Sentra. Will the 2.5 filter work in my 1.8 engine?

YEP...THEY ARE THE SAME AS PER AC DELCO.

Delco P# is PF2057

So they should be the same, unles otherwise specified by the manufacturer of the filter.
