Embarking on a weight loss regime can be quite challenging because it doesn't happen overnight, but with perseverence, slowly but surely, you can shed those unwanted pounds. Feeling hungry is your body's way of telling you to eat, eating when your not hungry is how you gain weight. Also eat what you desire, if you feel like fish eat fish, if you feel like steak eat steak, if you feel like cheese on toast eat cheese on toast, get satisfaction out of what you eat and enjoy it. I believe this to be a healty form of eating, eat what you want when you want, but of course if you're dieting, certain sacrifices will still need to be made. Don't force yourself to eat something you don't feel like eating nor should you carry on eating once you've passed that point of 'feeling full up'. Enjoy food, it is one of life's great enjoyments.
I'm not going to tell you that to lose weight go running three times a week and eat loads of brocolli and spinach. Of course going to the gym three times a week will be a super fast method, but this might be to punishing for most of you. Just simply incorporating these tips into your regime will help you achieve the results you desire. It needn't be a hard and fast slog to the finish line, but simply taking your pace following some or all of these steps, with perseverence you'll reach your final goal.
- Drink plenty of mineral water as your main daily intake of liquid. I like Volvic, if you haven't taken the challenge you should try, it really is full of volcanicity! A cheaper option would be to buy a Brita water filter.
- Give up sugar loaded carbonated soft drinks. No more Dr Pepper, no more Pepsi. Just one can of Coke contains 31% of your recommended daily amount of sugar! If this is not possible, limit yourself to one can a day.
- Walk when you can. Walk to the shops, walk to your weekly appointment, walk to the school, even walk to work if you want. If it's within reasonable walking distance walk. You'll save money on petrol too.
- Eat sandwiches without margarine or butter whichever you use. I don't find either of these improve the taste of the sandwich if you can taste it at all. In fact, you'll hardly notice it's not there.
- Drain your fried food on kitchen paper to remove excess grease. Use olive oil for your frying. Or even better, grill your meats.
- Half the amount of sugar you normally use in cups of tea or coffee. Or even better drink without sugar.
- Buy some slimming pills like Alli™ or Capsiplex™ from your local Holland & Barrett. These work by suppressing your appetite causing you to eat less, and increasing your metabolism to burn off excess fat quicker.
- If you don't like taking pills, the alternative is the slimming patch such as the Slim Weight Patch™, probably more efficient than taking an oral pill because you don't have to digest the active compounds. These work in the same way as nicotine patches.
- Drink green tea. Why? because not only is it good for you, but it helps with digestion and metabolism. Try one cup a day. Oh, and don't forget, you drink it without milk.
- Cut down on fast foods. I'm not telling you to give up, but to cut back on takeaway grub, maybe limit it to once a week or fortnight, and when you do buy in smaller quantities. Order a cheeseburger instead of quarter pounder, buy a small doner kebab, order a small pizza. And of course wash it down with a bottle of Buxton spring water!
Of course the ultimate outcome will be based on your actions, It's not all about sacrificing what you like, but just cutting back on certain elements. If you usually eat a whole tub of Ben & Jerry's in one, eat only half. If you usually eat six packets of crisps a day, eat just two. If you usually order 2 big macs, large fries, chicken nuggets and large cola, order just 1 quarter pounder, medium fries and a bottle of water. And there you go, a weight loss plan without having to count your calories, give up carbohydrates, and eat loads of fruit and veg.

I want to put an oil temp. and oil pressure gauge in my car and the way to do that is to put a "sandwich" adapter between the oil filter. The adapter comes in many different thread sizes so i need to know which size to get.
