Each year the Consumer Union rates automobiles for infrequency of reported serious problems by model and model year. It rates a model, for each model year offering the requisite data, as "Much Better than Average," "Better than Average," "Average," "Worse than Average," and "Much Worse than Average." Actually, with 50k miles and the hardtop you might get about 5k-6k depending on where you live. Always add 1,000 if you have a hardtop as they are difficult to come by. If you live in CA you will get alot less because there are alot of miatas on the market. You've got a nice car. May I recommend that you don't sell it, as in about 20 years they will be worth even more.
