Here are some more information for Race Bearings Main:

The Ripstik is the board with the crazy style of riding. Your feet do not have to touch the ground to move; you can ride very fast, but stay balanced when riding very slow. You can turn on a dime or carve down a hill like you are on the slopes. You can ride them up hill with ease; ride them on sidewalks or in a garage. You can race them, bust out some insane freestyle tricks or ride ramps, even get a group of riders together and play team sports on them. Possibilities are endless and the fun never stops. I have seen a lot of skaters that are very skeptical. They just need to try riding one. They are tons of fun to ride and get friends together who all have the Ripstik. Imagine snowboarding on the street, but you have the ability to go anywhere you want, up or down. Now add the agility of roller blades, turning and moving with ease and balance, that is how the Ripstik feels. If you have not tried one you need to find a friend who has one or get one for yourself. You will learn to ride it in just minutes and I have never seen anyone who cannot gain their balance and ride. It may look intimidating, but do not worry you will learn fast and be riding with confidence in a matter of minutes. When you are learning to ride take is slow and maybe have a friend help you balance. Then try on your own. Once you get comfortable you can start working on tricks.
The ripstik comes in a variety of great looking colors; red, blue, green, silver, and pink are the colors they have at this point. The deck plates are also replaceable. So if you have a green deck and decide you want a blue deck, no problem, it only takes about 2 minutes to switch them out and you have a brand new looking board with a different color. Wheels also come in different colors and are very simple to replace.
Let me give you one word of caution when riding the Ripstik. They do not have breaks. I absolutely love riding very fast down hills on my Ripstik but you must be very careful not to gain too much speed that you are unable to safely stop or bail. I recommend starting on flat ground and only riding hills with gradual slopes. If you feel confident you can try larger hills but always wear protective pads and especially a helmet. Also never ride where there are cars that may get in your way of riding. If you are cruising down a hill and cannot stop and a car drives out, there is nothing good that can come of that.
So remember to ride smart and safe. Always wear a helmet. If are someone that has never tried the Ripstik I would suggest you find a friend that has a board to try, or get one for yourself, you will not regret it. Get out there and have as much fun as you can on this incredible board called the Ripstik.
Check out the Ripstik, also called the Ripstick and ride one for yourself. You will have tons of fun and be surprised how easy it is for you or your kids to ride. Ripstik's are made by Razor who also makes the Razor Scooter.
Race Car Gauges and Optimal Positioning
A typical race car has four main gauges to which you need to pay attention if you are a race driver or own a race car; the Tachometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, and water temperature. The positioning of this gauges are important for good display and optimized driving.
Tachometer: displays the speed at all times. A tachometer is an instrument that measures the rotation speed of a shaft or disk. The device usually displays the revolutions per minute (RPM) on a calibrated analogue dial, but digital displays are increasingly common. The signal for the tachometer is usually generated from an engine ECU.
Oil pressure: displays oil pressure, sufficient oil pressure ensures that the metal of the rotating shaft (journal) and the bearing shell can never touch, and wear is therefore confined to initial start-up and shutdown.Oil pressure is higher when the engine is cold due to the increased viscosity of the oil, and also increases with engine speed. Oil pressure is lowest under hot idling conditions, and the minimum pressure allowed by the manufacturer's tolerances is usually given at this point
Oil temperature: the hotter the oil the more it loses viscosity, as a result keeping an eye on oil temperature might save the engine from damage as a result of wear.
Water temperature: keep an eye on water levels with this gauge. Driving at the limit for a race driver has to do mastering and control of a number of controls-the steering wheel, shifter, gauges, clutch pedal, brake pedal, throttle. Even the mirrors all aid the driver achieve a level of total control over the power under your control. According to Ross Bentley "Everything you do with these controls should be done smoothly, gently, and with finesse."
It's important that the gauges are mounted so that you can see them easily and read them at a glance. Often, it is best to mount the tachometer and other gauges rotated so the range that you must see the gauges in good view; the edline or ideal needle position should be at the 12 o'clock position. This way with a quick glance you know when to shift or whether the temperature or pressure are ok. Also make sure the gauges dont reflect sunlight into your eyes or have so much glare that you dont read them clearly.
A simple dashboard layout is best, with as few gauges as possible. but the use of A-pillar gauge set up is also very popular with race drivers, with the A-pillar setting the gauges are within your line of sight and makes checking up while driving easier.
Normally, race drivers only have to take a quick glance at the gauges, checking more for a change of position of a needle rather than the absolute number it is pointing at. Warning or idiot lights can prove very valuable. These are usually set to come on only if one of the critical engine functions reaches an unacceptable level such as if oil pressure drops below 40 pounds per square inch or the water temp. gets too high proving valuable as this will inform drivers of only serious changes.
For Enthusiastic home mechanics who want to install their gauge pods all by themselves i've put up a step-by-step video tutorial by Nathan Hilton that will help through the whole installation.

2 stroke tuning tips anyone??
Im currently stripping my sons rs50 engine and i wana know wht i can do to improve his performance a little bit more. His setup so far is: 70cc kit with single piston ring, uprated and faster crank, new main c3 bearings, a bigger 21mm carb (stock 14mm) with open airfilter, carbon reeds stronger clutch and a racing exhaust.
I wana know if i can do any internal work to improve the performance of the engine whilst its apart. I got told its a good idea to smooth the area on the crankcase around the crank with wet and dry untill all imperfections are out? porting? Anyone know anything else? Cheers
No i dont want a 80cc as its a brand new 70cc kit on it atm!
Polish the top of the piston? might give that a go. is there anything else i could do?
Go to the 80cc kit.
