Service Engine Soon Light Came on..RPM's are set too high?
My service engine soon light came on this morning when i started my car (2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT) and i took it to advanced auto parts and they hooked up the computer thing and said my RPM's are set too high, idles too high or something...what exactly does that mean? is that something u can change?? how would it get set too high??? also my car is started very funny all today like it delays a little before it turns on...any advice?? how do i change this?
Disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes.. This may reset the computer, turn the engine light off.
It could be many different things and I wouldn't sole rely on what they have told you. They have been wrong many of times with their diagnostics..
