The S6 sedan is a four-door sedan which is packed with excitement and performance of a sports car and at the same time offering a handy family/lifestyle-friendly feel.

Power is plenty...

The S6 is a total performance package and the biggest part of the S upgrade is the V10 engine. The combination of the 10 cylinders with the FSI technology gives the S6 with a unique technological position in the market. The 10 cylinders and FSI provide the S6 with 435 horsepower at 6800 rpm and churns up 398 lb-ft of torque at an engine speed not lower than 3100 rpm.

Locomotion in motion

The S6 engine power is delivered via a standard six-speed Tiptronic which adapts to your driving style by means of intelligent feature. The software program that controls the Tiptromic electronically has been optimized to deliver more gear changes. And if conditions are just right, the EPA indicates that you could get 15 mpg for city driving and 21 mpg for highway driving.

S6 saying on track...

Beyond the technology packed engine and transmission combination is a Quattro permanent four-wheel drive system with asymmetric/dynamic torque split. Likewise, a self-locking center differential, installed longitudinally in the driveline distributes power between the front and rear wheels, depending on the traction the normal split is 40 percent to the front wheels and 60 percent to the rear. In case of wheel spin it is brought under control by the Electronic Differential Lock EDL which applies the brakes.

The chassis of the S6 has firmer springs, dampers and more direct steering ration that ensures the S6 to reach the road with precision and minimal losses. The S6 can hit 60 mph in a matter of 5.1 seconds and reach top speed of 155 mph. it is also equipped with four large ventilated disc brakes, 15.2 inches in diameter up front and 13 inches in the rear.

The exterior design...

The exterior of the S6 looks like a boxer in a custom tailored suit. The nose features a single-frame grille, vertical aluminum-look struts and an air inlet beneath the grille. A spoiler lip at the front end of the car provides it with the additional down force. The trim strips along the lower edge of the doors are body color and are made wider to highlight the S character. A rear spoiler was integrated to trunk lid while the aluminum-look exterior mirrors and V10 emblems add some bright work. The wheel/tire combo and low stance provides it with an aggressive look.

The interior design...

The interior has a luxurious feel to it that doesn't detract the sports sedan presentation. Its new generation sports seats have integral head restraints and deep lateral supports all upholstered in Nappa leather.

The standard trim inserts are Grey Birch Wood. It also has a Driver Information System which comes as standard has an additional digital speedometer. At the center of the dash is a 7-inch color display. It Multi Media Interface is much better than BMW's iDrive.

My First Car Toyota Supra

The Toyota Supra is a sports car that was produced by Toyota Motor Company from 1979 to 2002. The styling of the Toyota Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider. Starting in mid-1986, the Supra (in its third generation, MKIII) became its own model and was no longer based on the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica  and began just calling the car Supra. Due to the similarity and past of the Celica's name, it is frequently mistaken for the Toyota Supra, and vice versa.
The Supra also traces much of its roots back to the Toyota 2000 GT with the main instance being its engine. The first three generations were offered with a direct descendant to the 2000GT's M series engine. All four generations of Supra produced have an inline six cylinder engine. Interior aspects were also similar.
Along with this name and car Toyota also included its own logo  for the Supra. It is derived from the original Celica logo, being blue instead of orange. This logo was used until January 1986, when the MKIII Supra was introduced. The new logo was similar in size, with orange writing on a red background, but without the dragon design. That logo, in turn, was on Supras until 1991 when Toyota switched to its current oval company logo.
In 1999, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped production of the Supra in Japan.
As an iconic sports car, the Supra has appeared in numerous video games, movies, music videos and TV shows. Some of the most notable appearances include the Gran Tourismo, Need for Speed, and Midnight Club series of video games and the 2001 film. The Fast and the Furious.

Will a cold air intake fit on my 91 toyota celica GTS?

Hi i recently bought a 91 toyota celica GTS and i can only find short rams but i want a cold air intake. I wanna buy a weapon R secret weapon for it but only the short ram come up. also what is the pros and cons for a short ram and cold and intake?

A true cold air intake system draws air from outside the engine compartment. A short ram does not. In theory cold air is denser which allows for a slightly more concentrated air/fuel mixture thereby giving you a bit more power.

Both the short ram and cold air intake systems breath better than the stock air box filter unit and offer you a little more power. Most manufactures offer dyno charts to back up their claims.

As for the pros, both aftermarket systems look and to some people sound better than the stock units. With a short ram it's easier to access the air filter for cleaning.

As for horsepower gains typically there's not much. I've got a AEM cold air intake on my 2004 Cavalier, can't tell any real difference until you really crank on it like when passing slower traffic on mountain roads.

AEM claims to offer a 8.6 HP gain @ 6,000 RPM and 7.9 ft lb torque increase @ 5,500 RPM, hardly worth writing home about. Still with a Chevy Caviler 2.2 litre engine you need all you can get.

Now for the cons. Short rams and cold air intake systems are noisier, you can really hear the air rushing in. Also its much harder to clean the air filter with some cold air intake systems because it's now inside the fender well, to get at it you must remove the left front tire and inner fender liner, about a half hour job.

Also you might have to worry about compliance with smog laws in your state. Many aftermarket intakes aren't approved for highway use. I chose the AEM cold air intake unit over the K&N short ram because at the time it was CARB approved and thereby street legal in California. The K&N unit was not as of yet.

EDIT: The difference between the claimed power output of the K&N Typhoon short ram system and the AEM cold air intake on a 2004 Cavalier is about 3 H.P.

That other guy might be right... but when it comes to smog checks I'd rather be safe than sorry. A lot of places (test only stations are nasty) won't even do the actual dyno test if you've got an aftermarket intake system without either an exemption or EO sticker. You'll fail the initial visual inspection and yet get charged for a complete test.

I know a dude who's got a K&N Power Brute setup on his Toyota Tacoma. Every 2 years it's the same story, replace the cold air setup with the stock unit for the test then afterwards put the cold air setup back on.

By the way both AEM and K&N recomend you keep the OEM air boxes just in case your state emission laws change.

Engine blew up, dealer replace engine under warranty, but never explain what the problems was, seemed to be very silent about the situation, was without the car for 2 weeks.
